I'm BACK!!

Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you know that I am back and I made it safely. I didn't even get sick, YAY! I will do a very detailed update next week. My family is leaving for vacation tomorrow morning so I will be gone starting tomorrow morning. I will also will start to post my journal entries next week. They are pretty detailed and one for each day (with the exception of travel days, those are one for the combined days since I could not really tell when one day ended and the other began.)

Understatement

Ok so my last entry, about 2 months ago, was an understatement. I have no idea where the time has gone. I am leaving in about 8 days and I am still not ready. So please be praying for that. I am sorry to all of you who check this page but life has been crazy. I have decided to call this my summer of missions. First I helped host a group from Russia (from my churches sister church) and now I am heading off to Zambia. The Russians just left and I miss them. Please email me if you have questions or want a more detialed update (I will try to get one posted later this week).

Time Flies

Wow I did not even realize how long it had been since I last posted. I guess that just goes to prove how fast time really flies. Well as you can see from my fundraising thermometer I have reached my goal. YAY!!!!! Thank you to all who prayed for me to reach it and all of you who helped me financially. If you are still wanting to give there are two options: #1 write the check to me (I still have expenses coming) or #2 write the check to Every Orphan's Hope and help the other people that are having problems fundraising. Either way works for me. Also I wanted to let those of you who didn't know I have an email address especially for Zambia stuff, so if you want to contact me you can email me at kuhlinzambia@gmail.com and I will be looking forward to hearing from you.

After Spring Break

God is so awesome...and so are any of you that have supported me. I want to thank anyone who has made the choice to support me either through thoughts/prayers or financially. I really appreciate it. God has been so faithful and is making it clear that he wants me to go to Zambia. The support continues to pour in everyday through your responses. Thank you again. If you are choosing to support me through prayer please still send in a response so I know how to pray for you...also I like getting mail :)
Spring break was good. It went by too fast though. I had another meeting for Zambia. They are still getting all the flights lined up and trying to get the prayer calendar together. I am trying to decide if I should wait for the prayer calendar before I mail out thank you letters or simply post the calendar online. Please let me know what you think or would prefer. God has been really faithful to the team members I have gotten to hear from...some people have gotten amazing support from people they never expected. This is also true for me. I will admit that there were people that I expect support from that have not responded yet while other people I did not expect that have gone above and beyond what I could have expected. God is great at doing that...making us realize that our expectations are nothing compared to what he has planned.
If you are one of my AMAZING prayer supporters please pray for the following this week: Continued responses, people feeling lead to be a part of this journey with me, the healing of my shoulder (I don't know what I did, I guess I am getting old), and praising God for all of my supporters :)
